“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
- Carl Yung
A habit is a routine of behavior that is repeated regularly and tends to occur subconsciously. The American Journal of Psychology defined a "habit, from the standpoint of psychology, [as] a more or less fixed way of thinking, willing, or feeling acquired through previous repetition of a mental experience."
Knowledge of what you need to do is not enough. You have to form habits. Make it as easy as possible; as frictionless as possible. It doesn’t matter if you only do one push up, or run for one minute, or eat two blueberries. Simply doing something every day in each category that is important to you is enough. It’s infinitely easier to do two push ups every day once you’re in the habit of doing one.
